    My Maverick cage cost me around 200 bucks with me doing the bending - I couldn't afford to do it any other way :)

    Welded the rear passenger marker light panel. Skimmed coated some Bondo on it and waiting for the bondo to set since it's 27 degrees in my garage.

    I noticed tonight when I was looking at the maverick that when I place my 2x3 outer chassis support I will be blocking the seat belt female end. So, I will need to drill a hole in the 2x3 and weld in a tube with a bolt in it to accept the seat belt bolt location.

    Kinda similar to what is below

    [​IMG]but more like this one below, so I can counter sink it into the 2x3
    [​IMG]the above would slide into the tube, and weld it to the tube by plug welding, then drop the whole shaft of the circle tubing into the 2x3...

    Is there anything like that-- that is aftermarket, or is it something that I am going to have to make?

    Why not wait until you get your seats mounted, then you'll know exactly where everything is going to end up, since you are doing so much, the stock location might not work...
