    Agreed here as well, unless temp is regularly climbing to 220* & beyond, you are likely seeing normal variances...

    I think your thermostat is too cold and allowing the coolant to flow through the radiator too fast at highway speeds..

    I run a 190 in my car. The car stays at 190 most of the time during the summer. The only time it climbs above that is after extended interstate driving, and than it hovers right around 195-200. During cooler months my car stays in the 165-180 range depending on how cold it is out. I have a manually operated electric fan on my car and only use it if I get stuck in heavy traffic or sitting at a drive through for an extended time. I almost never use it driving around town and it actually does more harm than good to have it on above 65 mph.
