I had a new 1984 Lincoln Mark VII LSC with the BMW diesel. Used to have to make an appointment to accelerate and merge into traffic.
Other than air ride suspension and the Teves ABS brake system(that booster is NLA), they are just oversized/overweight Mustangs. I junked one to get the 5.0 motor for my T-Bird(see link in sig) I built a Turbo Coupe T-Bird that was a really nice street and occasional drag vehicle. Drove it to Carlisle five times. At 3760Lb and not enough converter(2600 stall) it went best of 13.11@105, With poppa smurf in the trunk shooting a 75Hp shot, it went 12.23@112. My Nitto drag radials could not hold the 150 Hp shot, with slicks, a friend with same setup went 11.64 in his T-Bird.
