Thanks for the photos. That is about where I was looking to go. I have AC so things are a bit tighter up there.

What did you do for an oil pan?

I spent the day at Pick and Pull grabbing some more parts for the swap. I got the transmission dipstick, the fuel inertia switch, the short harness from the neutral safety switch and the throttle bracket. I already have the motor and the computer.

I want to get everything together before I attempt to do the swap, but there are a couple things that I don’t know what I need.

    1. What is needed for the Maverick throttle cable to connect to the throttle body?
    2. What is needed to connect the TV cable to the transmission? Is there an aftermarket (Lokar) kit that has everything?
    3. Radiator: What hoses did you use?
    4. Fan: I was considering going to an electric. Anyone done this? What did you use?
    5. Power steering pump to ram: Do the original hoses work or did you get custom made ones?
    6. AOD: What did you do for the cooling lines?

I’m still looking for some detailed shots of installed engines. Please send to: Micahkev-at-pacbell.net

Finally, this engine was from a SSP car (cop car) and has the oil cooler. Anyone running one on their engine?

    Thanks again for the help.

    Micah

I used a stock stock 1990 mustang 5.0 throttle cable and brackets, upper rad hose.. Used the maverick lower hose.. I have an electric fan on mine.. Will post a pic for you tomorrow.. I put a t-5 in my car. You will need to replace all existing fuel hose on the feed side with fuel injection hose.. The return side can be low pressure fuel line. Pm me for any more info or pics.. I also have a good wiring diagram made up for the MAF computer from a mustang

I just used a standard parts store fan.. Flipped the blade and reversed the wiring to pull.. I haven't had any overheating issues..
