hello, I just recently picked up a 86 5.0 EFI and I'm trying to find some post regarding getting this thing put in and going. Anything I try looking for doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. Any help is appreciated thanks

Would help if we knew EFI what, and is it the whole car or just a engine? I've converted a '88 Turbo T-Bird to HO 5.0 and used complete harness from a 5.0 Bird. If you know which wire powers the relays & computer it's possible to power the complete system from that one connection.

A '86 anything has the crappy E6 heads BUT in the real world, HO makes probably at least 40Hp over orig "rated" 210 Hp of '71. The std 5.0 used in '86-'91 Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and '86-'88 TBird & Cougar may be approx same as the orig Maverick engine.
