Yep. That is true. No knowledge is worse, which is probably why the saying "ignorance is bliss" came into being. Not wrestling with a decision is a happy state.
After a lot thought, I have come to a contusion, er, huh, I mean, conclusion. The 4-point harness will be safer than than the 3-point retractable, but a helluva lot more uncomfortable. Watching Bob Vandergriff describe some changes in his Top Fuel dragster really helped nailed down my decision. He stated that his seat belt harness used to mount down on the chassis (as do most Top Fuel cars) and now he has it where they mount on an additional bar they placed behind the seat. He said he now feels more solid in the seat and more comfortable. For my daughter, I am going with 3-point retractables. Since my daughter will have backseat passengers, I am going to out put in a roll bar just to make the 4-point harness more effective. My '73 street toy will be an entirely different story. I appreciate everybody's input.
