I was gonna say what Craig said but he beat me to it.
Man that's a gorgeous shade of blue. Has a good stance too. Really nice car. I have 255/45-17s on the rear of my Maverick, but the rear-end is wider (from a Granada) and the wheels have a
    4-3/4" back-spacing...

Thanks! still have no clue why people do those nostrils black all the time. The hood looks longer with everything the same color. The more I look at it the more I like it. I'd love to have a custom set of wheels some day so I could really maximize the rear tires!

Yeah, the Brazillians seem to like painting the sport mirrors black too. Makes no sense...

Lots of those Brazilian cars are rally cool but some of the things they do are a bit odd to me. They are certainly into the Mavericks though!

One more piece of the replacement part puzzle is the steering wheel. I've hated the Grant wheel since I first saw it. Never could find anything I like that wasn't stupid money. Found this MPI wheel on clearance at the pro-touring store. Much better!

On to the next weird issue with this car. The brakes have never seemed right. It stops but not like it should. Figured out that it has a 1 1/8" bore master on it. Called Wilwood and went over the brake components on the car. RRS stage 2 discs on the front with Wilwood Forged Dynapro discs on the rear. They suggested a 7/8" bore to match up with what I have. Still has the stock 5:1 pedal in it.

Changed that out today. Bought and adjustable pushrod kit. Had to cut 2" total off the rods and thread the rod in the master 1 1/4" more to get it dialed in. Took way too long to get the master bench bled but finally got everything swapped over. What an amazing difference. Nice to have brakes that work as they should now!
