Does anyone know if the stock wheels off of a 2004 Mach 1 will fit on a '72 Grabber? They are both 5 lug. I can get a great deal on a set and thought they might look good.

Would require spacers if they do fit (pretty sure they do).

The bolt patern is the same, but the back spacing is way off. Like Craig said, gotta have spacers. Check some of the mustang venders, most sell them.

You'd have to measure the backspacing of the wheels and then decide how far they need to be pushed out based on the size tires you intend to run. . Don't let someone else decide that for you.

the backspacing on these rims are 5.72 "
so would 1.25" spacers work to make it close 4.5" backspace?

i want to run 275/40/17 on the rear

If you have the stock width Maverick rearend, a 275 is likely to rub the leafspring or inner frame rail with a 4.5" backspacing. You would need a minimum of 4.0".

Up front, a 4.0" to 4.25" is pretty much ideal.
