Mad frenchman at lebanon valley

I met the Mad Frenchman at Lebanon Valley in New York.
Great guy to talk to. He is 80 years young. He said the car is still for sale. He wanted to do one more wheel stand, which he did. He was recently inducted into a drag racing hall of fame in the Carolinas.
It was noisy in the staging lanes, so I missed some of the information.
There was a guy there, that said some guys are trying to get the money together to buy the car and put it in the museum. They want the car to be preserved as it is.

 

I saw him there a few years back. You got to love that car. Its a beast. 10s with an inline six. It was for sale then too. I forget how much he wanted. 30K maybe?
