I'm with you...the auto to work everyday...the stick for the weekend...an auto if you have 300 hp or more
I'll say this, nothing beats slaming a corner and picking the right gear for the exit...................I guess nobody here would know what that feels like sence mavericks don't handle very well with cookie cutters
Mine does...lower the car 2 or 3 inches, litten it up just a little, put 17x8 & 17x9 on it, put 225's & 255's on it, & relocated the battery & gas tank. This is a start.
Me 'tinks that we will need to see some pics of Mr. Hackman's (or Mrs for that matter) Maverick to see what can be done with a Maverick. I would like to see an update just out of curiousity's sake. Pllleeeeeaaaaasssseeee?!?!?!?!?!?! It's pretty wild!! Preston
Also Manual = Rev Limiter Don't know anyone with a manual that has never missed a shift when running hard.
Thom- Mine goes around corners just fine! All you have to do is make sure there is no moisture, slow down to about seven miles an hour, and stay as far away from the throttle as you can without actually getting out of the car. Now what's wrong with that? hehehe
Don't have much to tell, I haven't got to do any work to my car The kitchen remodel, my truck, and my mustang have taken all my time and money. Here's the last picture I took. So far Jag IRS rear suspension, Jag front suspension, T-5 trans, Street Boss engine, 17x9 wheels with 255/40-17 front and 275/40-17 rear tires.
We only do that in Arkansas....namely Perry county mavman, that's hilarious 'cause here in PA we have a Perry County too, and they're the same way (6 fingers on each hand, 6 toes on each foot)!
I can drive both stick and automatic, but I prefer automatics for one reason: I can't reach the freaking clutch!!! It sucks being short. I have driven a few cars were the seat actually moved up enough for me to reach the clutch, and I must say they were the most fun to drive. I just had to remember to move the seat back so the next guy to drive the car didn't have thier knees jammed into the steering wheel.
