IT dosent take much to import it into the US. The 2 draw backs would normally be the EPA and DOT. It has to conform to the US emission and safty standards set by these agencys for the year of manufacture. But, one has a cut off of 20 years and the other 25. I cant remember which was which but it dosent matter due to the age of the car. Then its a matter of getting a shipping agency lined up. You will have to fill out a customs form and get the waivers from the 2 agencys before they will relaease it at the docks. I had a shipping company lined up for around $800. You will also have to see if the buyer is willing to deliver the car to the docks down there.
Dennis, PLEASE send me the information for the shipping company you were planning to use. I was getting estimates as high as $5000!!
I couldnt foward them because they are too old, so I cut and pasted them. Let me know if you have any more questions.
