Thanks i dont think its that though.I have a new tank and the sending unit doesnt have the filter it just has the tube, the one i'm going to use still needs that filter and a new float. And i found out two problems yesterday, when i rebuilt the carb i put in the check ball and weight backwards on the venturi and i'm missing a connection on the coil, i think i took it off when i removed the old alt harness....it rain all day yesterday so i couldn't work on the mav, but it looks like a beautiful day today
