    1977 Factory 302 Mav. 1970 Cougar Eliminator, 1975 302 Grabber, 1976 4door 200...and still looking
    Yep....I worked mine over a little bit. It was @#$% painting the red on them. Does anyone know if clear coat will hold up on the valve covers? I am afraid it will turn brown or flake off.

    I had to work on mine to.
    When I got them they had this horrible thick red paint that seemed more like rubber than paint on them.
    took forever to get it all off.

    hmmmm...rubberized paint. Not a bad idea for valve covers....

    Maverickgrabber...How do you like that air cleaner? I have been thinking about getting one. Price is a little steep on them... Is it worth it?

    i like that air cleaner lets a lot of air in
    ...think Robert Raney=Mavericknutt found one thats not made by K&N but looked nice is was a lot cheaper i know
