    Thanks, it's something a little different.

    That's a mint black back seat that I bought from Okibono in California.

    He hasn't posted here since sometime in 2008. I hope he's well.

    I built a lot of cages for stock cars and I always wanted to do one for the street so here it is. Plus if you look at the photos in my gallery, you will see that all of the original front spring towers are now gone. The new front bars tie into the main cage so it is also used to hold the car back together.

    Another reason is 500+ horsepower of stroked Cleveland with a 4 speed -The cage should help.

    Just a ?? will you be able to get the rear seat out if need be? It looks real close in the pics.

    I'll try it tomorrow as the bar isn't welded in yet and I have to remove the seat to weld it.

    I'm thinking that it should be OK as you have to push the bottom of the seat back first, to unlatch it, before you can lift it out. Also the bar isn't touching the seat so there is some room already built in there before you push the seat back.

    We'll see tomorrow for sure. :huh:

    Wow...nice job!Bob!You can tell youv'e bent tubing before,very close to the body and a great idea for the seat,the hoop looks like it mounts directly over the front spring "box"which is real strong right there,your'e building a great chassis(I've seen the pics of the front chasiss!)Git r done!
