My next trip down to Palmerton will be with the rolling body in an enclosed trailer - exactly when that happens is :hmmm:

I see this Hugger orange at a lot of car shows - you can pick it out across a loaded field of cars - I like to call it "In Your Face Orange" :yup:

    It got even orange-er!

Just went you though something orange couldn't get more orange ( er ) :D

Dale shot the parts with clear coat today. Can't wait to see them tomorrow along with Ted's freshly completed Sprint :yahoo:

Another trip to visit to see Jean and Dale Doll, this morning, to pick up my finished "really orange" looking parts :dancing:

The next trip down, I'll be taking a rolling chassis/body loaded into an enclosed race trailer :):):)

This was a light parts load for SX4 - the load with the doors & valences was more of a challenge

That's another car we are restoring. Bob's pictures were taken at my place where his parts were painted.

Nope, I'm using 3M 2 part panel cement, then fill in the old drilled out spot weld holes with filler. Dale will hit that edge again with orange when the shell goes in for final paint. :yup:

After I had originally drilled the spot welds out, and removed the cowl top, I found out that the bottom lip wasn't real solid due to old corrosion between the top and bottom cowl pieces so attempting to weld it back was not going to be a good idea. Solid enough to glue it but I can see weld burning through. :)

Got all of the rust out and prior owner's damage, on my right side quarter panel, removed from behind the wheel well - still have to remove the metal that wraps around and is spot welded to the tail panel - replacement used panel is also rough cut :)
