A Mustang is not a Maverick, two different vehicles. But a big enough hammer, cutting torch and welder anything is possible
I have a mustang on its way in a week and has no front seats and I have a maverick bench in excellent condition
Would like to see a picture of that Someone I know had a real early mustang with a red interior and a bench seat with split backs - different
I have a 1967 Mustang Convertible with a bench seat with fold down arm rest (split seat). According to the Mustang books there were only 1209 built with the specs like mine. Candy apple red, white power top, black interior, 289 A code (4 barrell), 3 speed manual.
I saw a '66 Mustang with a bench seat at a car show I attended this week end. And a 'couple of hundred years' ago when I worked at a car dealership we had a bench seat '66 Mustang come in as trade. Bruce
Maverick bench will be way too narrow for a 69 mustang. Your best bet for temporary seating will be a salvage. I ran early Probe seats in my 69 mustang for several years, very comfortable, and we're easy to mount (couple holes, and a couple of heavy angles welded behind the seat riser) All my modifications were easy to remove when I decided to put the stock interior back in.
