Maverick/Comet Trivia

While watching Barrett-Jackson this past week, the man who reviews all the cars threw out a bit of trivia about the Maverick. Does anybody know what other famous Ford product was designed by the the same man who designed the Maverick? Any other trivia about the Mavericks or Comets?

I wonder if he worked on the original design for the Maverick, looks like he was working on the redesign.

 

That's the man ! It wasn't stated if it was the original or redesign. Anybody else have any other trivia dealing with the cars?

 

Here is my favorite (not originally my trivia question, though). Hopefully I get this right...

Other than the "Maverick" emblems, gas cap or the vehicle manual, what is the only other original part on a Maverick that actually has the word "Maverick" on it?

There was a thread a while ago of trivia that included this one and many others.

 

The 200 6 cylinder air cleaner decals have Maverick on it.

 

I'm going to say that the tire pressure decal and even some of the air cleaner decals say "Maverick" on them.

 

Good points! But there is still another part. The trivia is less dramatic as you guys answer correctly, lol.

Is that true? Even if so, yet another part...

I feel that I left something out of the trivia question that may have eliminated the previous statements...

 

Not sure about the hub cap. Was just a guess.

 

The center caps on most, including the aluminum slots, only have the steer head.

 

Further to the Tire Pressure decal, even the wax backing sheet for the decal had the word "Maverick" on it. Gotta be worth at least ONE Internetz Bonus...
