Maverick Dyno Day Meet and Eat

I would love to come to this meet but it is the same day as team speedworlds race #2 so I will be out there. I hope this is not the only time we do this maybe the next time

Come by on your way home. Im sure we will be there until late afternoon. Well some of us will im sure. straight shot down the 303 from speedworld to the dyno shop.

 

maybe depends on how tried I will be, because I am going out there friday night for the test &tune, then sat for the diesel race and sunday for the team race, so it going to be a long weekend

 

We have a few more dyno spots open. Reserve them now if you want it. I messaged 150 contacts Ive collected over the years from this forum about the meet. Like I did before. Might only get 5-10 repsonses out of like last time but ya never know. They might crawl out of the woodwork since this meet will actually happen.

 

Hey Matt maybe Ill talk to Rick U at work and have him bring that little turbo Pontiac and see what it does too. He should be out at speedworld too that day.

 

Hey guys,I am planning on going to the" Desert Dyno Day"event .I don't want to step on your toes ,Eric,so let me know if I'm outta line. I have a truck and would be happy to bring my gas grill & utensils.Just sounds a lot easier than you fussin' with it.No need tranporting a propane tank like that if it can be avoided. Also,on a somewhat related note..Hey "RESTO" theres a guy by me who is parting out a 2dr mav'75 I think, about 7mi from the event.I can try to make arrangements for you or us to look at it while your in this neck of the woods. Most stuff is gone.Just let me know in advance.Ryan or Gene may still have my phn #.

Right on John, you can bring the grill stuff so Eric dosnt have to try and cram it in the Explorer.

Isnt Good Guys on saturday too? Either way we wont get started until 11, and be going til sundown maybe depending on how many cars we have to dyno. Hit good guys in the morning while it cooler out and then come hang out in the shop in the shade with us.

 

starting at 11AM... WTF... just in time for the burgers? or what

 

I was thinking burgers for a late lunch? With some guys on the eastside, some going to good guys, some drag racing in the morning, that 11 would be a good time to start and go on till sundown or whenever we are done. We can start earlier if some people want to.

 

ahh.. the idea is to dyno the cars with everyone there.. as opposed to hammering out the cars and who ever is there is there.. anymore peeps answer your email? maybe we should start branching out the invites to the other 60-70s fords in Az..

 

bryant and I might try to come up the might before. I have to still plan it out with him but I'm excited.

 

If you guys ar egoing to stay at a Hotel then I think the closest ones will be on Dysart ave just off the I-10. May be some closer to Bullard ave but dysart has the most food, stores, and autozone nearby just in case.
