Deluxe Door Panel with Short Armrest Here's my '72 Grabber's interior that came with the deluxe door panels and short arm rests...and striped bench seat.
Here is my rendition Of what a Deluxe panel for a Sprint would have looked like had Ford actually made them.
Something of interest? I came across a 1970 Saleman's guide, and it has a picture of the "Deluxe Door Trim" in the booklet with bench seats, and with the short arm rest, but the interesting thing is it doesn't describe it as an option anywhere; it just has the picture of the interior of a Maverick with it. The picture is describing "Blazer-Stripe Seat Trim". It appears that the "Deluxe Door Trim Panels" were first introduced with the "Blazer-Stripe Seat Trim", and later as a separate option? It seems to me this is what Doug's interior looks like based on the picture of his interior and what I am seeing in the sales booklet.
Just Curious Has anyone seen these "Deluxe Door Trim Panels" that have the Maverick shorthorns with the short armrests on a 1970 Model?
I put a grill emblem on the center of my steering wheel. Its glued on with RTV silicone and dont affect the operation of the horn. Looks factory in my opinion.
Just a thought, there was a guy at the round-up last year that did his maverick engine bay with that splatter paint(?) it looked pretty cool!
Sssplatter paint Are you suggesting someone splatter paint their door panels in the shape of a Maverick? lol
the '71 grabber i saw today had the logo plus the long chrome plastic with the short armrest...frank...
Frank, Just curious, did the 71' Grabber have a bench or bucket seats? I am betting bench if it had the short arm rest.
