i have a hard enough time explaining to people that the gt was a comet and the grabber was a maverick. now your really going to confuse the issue.:)

Dan the GT emblems might look better lower on the fender

I have the 289 emblems on mine with the High Performance Backing Plate, guess I need to change them to 302 since the upgrade. :hmmm:

Cool ... I have never seen those pictures before! (y)

Looks like they just had a vinyl decal that said Mavi GT ... I already have the vinyl top though!

Now come on ... everytime I want to mod this car the majority says don't do it ... you'll ruin it ... won't look right , etc ... i.e. vinyl top, blacking out tail panel & taillight frames, front valance guards and sticking with a 250 ....

But then when it's done I get a whole bunch of thumbs up! or you all just being nice ... :D

the only one i was against was the vinyl top, and not because of looks. i think a mavi clone would be cool(y):yup:

That head is just like any other log head with the integral intake manifold. They just drilled holes in both ends to accept the other two carbs.

Goofy looking hood! But, it made room for the 3 deuces, so I guess I could live with it. Nice!
