This may sound like insanity, but I had the idea to make a motor swap to my Maverick 73, and one of the modern motors I like the most is the HEMI hellcat 6.8, not only fot the visuals, which are awesome btw, but for the power this beast has, a real muscle motor on modern days. The only problem is that I do not have an idea of where do I start, and I don't really know if it gonna works. You guys have any idea of what are the most importat things to considerate?

As mentioned above, you are going to have to remove the shock towers, install an aftermarket front suspension, either based on Mustang II, TCP, Rod and Custom etc.....may even have to modify the transmission tunnel, definitely alot of planning, work and money.........!

First thing to ask, do you have the fabrication, mechanical skills, time and patience to accomplish this lofty goal? If not, consider a less complicated swap.
