Looks like he decided against the paint scheme. Oh well, it's gonna look awesome! I'd love to see that thing in person. (y)

This thread is awesome. I felt like I was at jalopnik with all the Car+Truck thing.
Too bad Brazil didn't mass-produced it like Argentina with the Falcon Ranchero.

We could use cars like that now that gas is so high. I just read a story in the paper about a new lighter turbo V6 pickup Ford is working on for 2011. This new truck will be built here in Wayne Michigan. The Ranger will be built in Thailand. Mabe Ford should offer a Fusion "Ranchero" A V6 AWD version and a tow package would be nice!

I like this. It reminds me of the Australian UTEs.

I thought Ford was dropping the Ranger. :hmmm:

It now has a 420" Windsor,I think the dyno numbers were around 750-800 hp.,it has a P/Glide behind it.It's about ready to fire up.These pic.s were at the body shop,it has to come back to my shop in a couple weeks for some chassis adjustments and tweaking,I'll do a whole photo shot then and for everyone that didn't remember the build I'll get everyone back up to speed on this project.Jack

The Brazilian one has a larger back glass too.

But it doesn't have a 420 Winsor and a rollcage though.
I miss the 70s paint scheme.

The proportions on the Brazilian one are really pretty nice. Looks like a smaller version or a 70-71 Ranchero. The top and bed from a rusty Ranchero might be just the thing to pull this off.

Here's another answer to guys that stumble upon a perfect four door.

I still want a sedan delivery, though ...
