The mav is gone but i'm still here!
There Is a HUGE market for the first gen falcons. It's a very sought after car in the collector world. As a owner of a second gen falcon I know all too well :( They make less parts for these than they do for mavericks.

I just sent Total control an e-mail begging them to make an affordable kit :)

If one was available for $1500 or less I wonder how many would buy it? I sure as hell would.

Hey Maveric75. Do you have a 66-69 Falcon? They are very cool. You can sneak Big blocks in them I hear. Even the 66 had the bigger bay if I remember correctly.

Well at least they replied :)

    Subject: Rack and Pinion?

I don't know how many people have asked for this but since you guys have the best reputation and good prices I figured I'd try.... Please build a Rack and Pinion kit for Maverick/Comets.... Ok I asked :) I would buy one tomorrow if you had em' for the same price you charge for the Mustang/Falcon stuff. I am sure many others on the various Maverick web sites would too. RRS wants $2650 for their Maverick kit. No idea why. If you guys could keep the manual kit under $1500 I would buy it.

    Thanks.

P.S. Your sub-frame connectors on the other hand, do work on Mavericks. I have a set installed :)

    Their reply.....

    Hi Aaron,

Thanks for the suggestion I will pass this on to the engineering dept. I am not sure what they have in the works but check back occasionally, if we do one it will be on the website.

I talked to them 2-3 years ago about building one......probably not enough demand.

Yeah. I wonder how many would be the tipping point to make it profitable to them.
