Maverick Rear Window Louvers available...

I've had this glass for sometime, just never had time to get a louver made for one. I make all these louvers on the glass one piece at a time and a Maverick louver will resemble the Mopar's I build. but will be the shape of the Maverics glass.

I asked him how does he get the correct "pitch" of the rear glass in order to make sure the louvers are level. He wrote back: "By "center rails of louver", On every type of louver I fab., I have a blank (I'll call it) that I cut arch of glass on the bottom (glass side) and on the top where louvers actually set on rail. I used a "level" to make sure each louver tier sets level," before window is removed" If I did not do this first, the louver tiers would either be pointing up or down when installed on car.
I cut center rails from the same blank on every louver I fab. and have a perfect louver everytime.
Plus I've worked in Fab. shops and autobody repair most of my life, as well as 1/2 a college degree in Drafting and Tool & Die Design, I gotta couple yrs. to go on those degrees, and don't have the spare time to continue since college I attended is approx. 65 miles one way, A few of the Profs. called me a proffessional student since I have kids getting ready for college, 1 more yr. high school for my oldest
These louvers are my design, I am only one that does cutting and bending, but I do use outside source for T.I.G. welding, and is why these louvers are a little pricey, T.I.G. welder I would need to do this type of work will cost nearly $2000.00 + gasses, easier to give welding shop $50.00 - 100.00 to weld each louver, than having these extra cost, because not to much profit in louvers.

If this guy is willing to provide a set of "louvers" for $350.00 its a BARGAIN !! There are not that many sets around that I know of ; I had a set and sold them to a guy on this forum , and he drove to Florida to Pick The Up since I didn't want to risk damage to the louvers by shipping.. THIS guy is reasonable, and it sounds like he would
do a good job .. Worth investigating if you're into Louvers. JMO .. Cometized ( Chip)

If this guy is pricing them at $350.00 a set INCLUDING shipping .. That is a real BARGAIN !! .. I think they look
cool on our type cars. There's a guy on this forum that has the set I used to own and they look really neat on HIS
