i would sugest staying with the 8". your 347 shouldnt be to much for the 8". put what ever gear ratio in you want and a posi in. get a disk brake conversion kit from a company like ssbc or willwood. the 8" uses what is called a small ford bearing end. so any kit for a 9" with a small ford end will work on the 8".
maverick 5 lug axel flange gaskets Anyone know if the axel flange gaskets are available, and a part number if possible. I have a 5 lug maverick axel.?? The local parts counter can't find corrent ones. Gave me some small ones (maybe from a 4 lug) Thanks john
