A subject I found interesting came up while we were eating lunch. Just how many cars make up my '72. In other words, how many cars I pulled parts from in junkyards and stuff to return the car back to drivable condition from basically the rolling shell it was when I originally bought it for $100. I could not answer that question at the time. I lost track a long time ago. On the way home, I pondered it for a while. There is at least 35 cars that make up that '72, ranging from 1952 to 1999... Ford, Mercury, Chevy, Fiat, Honda, Nissan and Studebaker are the brands that make it up, and maybe some little odds and ends here and there from other brands I forgot about. Damn, and I depend on this thing to get me to work most of the time.
