I'm starting to think that Ray needs to be in that category that requires adult supervision. I'm also thinking that his wife is
    a. out of town,
    b. mad at him and has taken away privileges,
    c. not getting his Viagra refilled,
    d. not aware of his online behavior,
    e. all of the above.

Agreed! If you can get all the original paper work for that car, you'll have a very special car.

Yes! Even if it's not finished, we would love to see it.

It' all about money. Engine is in, headers need ceramic. Having C-4 rebuilt. Next a wiring harness from Centech. Interior needs upholstry. I need paint and a stripe kit. The pipe covers need to be polished but are otherwise perfect. The black turnouts were plastic and are very brittle as is the chin spoiler. There is a lot more but that is the big stuff. I found another picture from 1997. I just need to have it scanned to disc.

My family owned and I worked at a local shop in Marietta when these cars were built. We used to do a lot of the work on these cars. One black car was built that they named a black widow. We did some custom painting on these cars. Glad I found this site, I googled Comet Stabber and this link popped up. One of my first cars was a 67 Comet that we built.

If you have pics or anything to do with the Stabber, I would like copies and will pay for them.

I was talking to a guy at work today and we were talking about cars we have a had in the past,he was telling me he owned a Bearcat back in the mid 70s. I asked him to look for some pictures if he had any. He is not much of a car guy so he couldnt tell me much about it. Another guy came in and said he remembered test driving a new Bearcat. Both of these guys are from Newnan Ga.

I dug my side pipes out of the basement today afer reading this thread. I got them from the same guy I got the wheels from. I thought he said something about a Stabber when I bought/traded them. I did not know the Stabber was a local name. No wonder people on the internet look at me like I'm stupid when I said Stabber. I might as well show you my "Big Daddy" Don Garlit's tach that I bought around the same time while I'm at it.
