    also keep in mind that if you really want to stay with vinyl on the hood.. that anyone who makes custom graphics can easily cut them for you if you have the specific measurments to work with. There's a ton of material to choose from too.. but the bigger issue there is the fact that anything special ordered will come in larger bulk roll's for which the shop will likely not want to be sitting on after your project is done. Which means that you end up buying far more material then you'll need here andf the price will be higher than paint would be in the long run.

    I've also used regular old striping tape for the layout and hand trimmed patterns for the vinyl shop to work off of with great results as well. Pretty easy stuff in the scheme of things really.
