    Steve, "dizzy" gear is the "distributor" gear. Gotta watch some of the slang, or you might go awry. In this case, SERIOUSLY awry!

    Late Model 5.0L article should get you started.

    I got a 1985 Manual tranny Mustang distributor remanned for about 90 bucks; it has the roller cam gear and is setup for carb. Duraspark already.
