It´s not a exaggeration. In brazil a 1974 maverick gt cost almost U$ 15.000. With this money you buy any 2005 brand new good car.

Thanks! Hope to hear from some Brazilian people, preferably in English, but I have access to a translation program and SHOULD be able to make heads or tails out of Portugese.

Alfredo, can you tell us more about the Maverick with the hidden headlights. Is that the grill everyone is talking about? Does the owner of that car speak English? If so I would like to talk to him sometime.

"Alfredo, pode você dizer-nos mais sobre o maverick com os faróis escondidos. É aquela a grade que todos está falando aproximadamente? O proprietário desse carro fala o inglês? Se assim eu gostar de lhe falar sometime."

I don't speak Portugese but this is what the translator program spit out.

    Mike

Well, Mike, that grill was handmade by the owner. But i'snt so hard to make this. I'ts the original grill inverse, with any plastic adjust. The owner speak English, he lived in newark, NJ, but he don't like computers or internet, and atuality he is sick.

    Hello Alfredo!

I saw its Maverick in 2006, in Volta Redonda. Nice car!
I am wanting to buy one, but it is difficult to find a good Maverick in Brazil.

They are of the Brazilian mark Binno, 18'', with Pirelli PZero tires used in the Stock Car Brazil.
This is a race and drag Maverick !
