Here is the information that Seth sent to me when I inquired.

We are in process of clarifying some of the guidelines at this moment.
Note I said guidelines, not requirements.

The idea is to attract attention to both the club and the cars.

1-We ideally would get the most exposure at an All Ford or Mustang Meet with classes offered for other Ford vehicles.
2-An open show will work as well.
3-Determine how many potential Maverick/Comet owners will participate, and get permission from the show sponsor/club/person-in-charge to park the cars together-more exposure that way.
4-Let me know the details, dates, entry fees, goodie bags? etc.
5-We have an MCCI club banner that can be sent to mini-meets of good size-let me know the #'s and we may send that to you.
6-Take pictures. Lots of pictures. Pics of the cars, pics of the people with cars (important), pics of the show location. Details of the show are also nice. How many cars total showed up for the show as well as the # of Mavericks/Comets. What activities were at the show? Did any Mavericks/Comets win any class awards?

That's about it. We don't really recognize a gathering at someone's home as a mini-meet. Open shows or other are what we are pushing for. If you get 10 or more guys and want to have an all Maverick/Comet show-let us know.

Dash plaques. At this time we don't have any. We had in the past purchased dash plaques with the club logo and the year inscribed with 'mini-meet'. We are trying to cut as many losses as we can. I am looking into and discussing with the club directors getting plaques with no year-so that they are not useless after Dec. 31. For sure, we will not have any more this year.

Let me know what you plan to do. Also, I need your full name, show location, contact info to give to post for other potential attendees.

    Thanks for the inquiry.

    Seth

I was planning on holding one on the coast but Katrina has backed me up until next year. I'll keep you posted as I will start my planning early next year. I might possibly be able to make yours if you have one...just depends on where and when. Good luck, Ray (y)

Another key is too plan it as EARLY as possible. If you know a year from now you will be hosting a Mini-Meet...let Seth know. There is no such thing as "too early" when it comes to a Mini-Meet....but there is such a thing as "too late".
