I'm waiting for Terry to post directions to either the place we are meeting for breakfast or his Dad's house ...
if we are not welding, why does terry have to be there? if he "has to"', why does he get to pick the place? ...frank... p.s. i would like to congrad. him on being the "uglyest" one on the board .
I will post directions to the restaurant in the next two days. If it is raining, we may not weld. Something about water and electricity not mixing too well. Since we will be welding in the trunk, do we need to drop the gas tank? Just curious?
The trunk welds are the mounts above the frame rail on each side and the holes in the ends of the 1/4 panels. I don't see a reason to remove the gas tank. When they guy at the muffler shop welding in my dual exhaust he came much closer to the tank than we will ....
Sorry about that, I was thinking the bumper guards was between the backup and tail lights. I should have known better since my Sprint came with those things. You know what they say, the 3 signs of getting older are, 1st you start to forget things....................I cant remember the other 2.
Frank can ride to Earl's house and either ride with or follow Earl. I'll e-mail Earl how to get to the restaurant. He knows how to get to my house; the restautant is just around the corner. I'll e-mail Dan directions to the breakfast joint. When Frank goes to the restroom at the restaurant, Dan, Earl, and myself will then leave and go to my dad's house.:bananaman
Rain, Rain Go Away Gents, if it rains tomorrow (Friday), we may not be able to weld Saturday for the simple reason that we may not be able to get the cars, up the yard, to the basement roll-up door. If that is the case, I think all of us could move the welder up to the driveway and use a long 220 cable Dad has. Of course, I would need you to help put it back in the basement when we're through. I'll check the yard late tomorrow afternoon and check with Dad on what he wants to do and let y'all know tomorrow evening.
