have the floor done with a high quality epoxy coat before anything is put in.
run an air line system through the walls with clean out lets.
put the air compressor out side in a secure shed so you dont have to listen to it run.
put power out lets and air out lets on the posts of the hoist.

lol.. Bryant beat me to it. My floors were a pain in the arse because I did them after I had evertyhing in there already. And my airlines were an afterthought which made it mandatory to put them on the walls.

Also consider running the cable, ethernet(at least cat6), and speaker wires internally while you're at it.

Keep one section of wall clean and sheet rock it so you can use a projector to show movies when all your buddies just want to hang out (goes with the bar and pool table!)

a pool table in a garage where youre storing your car isnt a good idea. I can see someone playing with the car in the garage and a ball fying off the table and we all know how the rest of that nightmare goes
central heat and air are definite must haves if you plant o be in there for hours on end. I wouldnt go with a projector. I would go with the biggest tv you can afford two of. one for the house and one for the garage. theres no way the wife is going to let you have a bigger tv than she does. lol the garage is part blessing to her because she doesnt have to clean up after you and your friends anymore and she doesnt have to try and entertain you guys

Almost the same as me but. I have 10ft walls with my lift on single door side. 10ft x30ft attic at both ends

Wow. thanks for all your suggestions. I am happily not married. I have a 55inch 8000 series Samsung with Bose surround in the home but i wouldn't mind if i had one in the garage.I allready have 2 frideges in the house. But i do have another one doing in nothing. There is a bath room and two industrial sinks in this garage. The epoxy coating is a good idea. Any idea what it cost or of a place in Northern IL southern Wisconsin? I would love a pool table out there but i agree one accident and that would just piss me off. But there is plenty of room in the basement next to the ping pong table. I wish i could put the compressor outside but the garage is built to the limits the city will allow but it will be walled in. However i did make sure that an air line will run into the basement so i can have air in the house. There will be a pc outside as well as an eight camera security system. Building all this and buying the house is a real dream come true but the timing suxs. The week before i stripped everything out of the maverick to install the rod and custom motor sports front end, new seats, and complete the roll cage. Now it is just sitting there looking all sad.

There will be a room for the compressor but it will not have a vent to the out side. Here are 2 new pics.

as all my fellow married friends would say.. "lucky bastard!"

hehe.. I kid. Well with the silly name calling anyways.

Enjoy that magnificent space to it's fullest and don't forget to build the shed close enough to keep all the ugly/bulky stuff close by and out of sight. :)

PS. smart move on the open rafter design. (y)
