Very nice piece(s)! Can you add any updated photos? I'm planning on using their coilover front clip whenever my Mav gets here. It's still stranded up in WA awaiting transoprt...

Nice job, just did 2 Mav. Must II conversions, one with stock style lower arms with tubular struts, and one with tubular lower c/arms,I hate to bear the bad news but those lower wide tube C/arms are a real big problem with headers, they are in the only spot the headers can go,still trying many different sets and mod.s(note:both cars are 351s) Hope it works out for you.

Probably going with a turbo setup so shouldnt be a big problem.

Yea sure do. Been so busy working on it I dont have time to take pix.:D. Im waiting to get a few more things taken care of before pic taking begins, also waiting on my Mig cylinder to arrive so I can get the stuff finished welded.
I've got my upper shock mount tacked in for the rear coilovers. I've modified the lower front a-arms and the upper mount on the mustang II crossmember to accept the front coilovers. Now I have to order mounting tabs for the front. I've started mini-tubbing the rear wheel wells. Im totally redoing the engine bay area. Have to order motor mounts and get them installed. It's coming along...will take pics soon.

(y)This is the same crossmember I used. Did you get the whole kit with the steering rack, brakes. and springs?
If installing a big block there are a few changes you will have to make but I'm sure you will like all the extra room.

You've got to do a tech article on the minitubs, and soon! ;) I'm getting ready to do mine, already have the frame rails narrowed up...

I'm not narrowing the frame rails. With the tri-4 link setup I got rid of the leaf springs and the bars are inboard of the rails. With the tubs cut back to the rails and widend I have enough room for at least a 295/35/R18 tire. Thats plenty of tire for me. If I had it to do over I would have just back halved the car. I really didnt want to fool with having to move the rails and through some careful measuring and planning I wont have too.:bouncy:. I will take some pics of the tubs as I go. I have one side already cut out so the next side I will document for those wanting to do the same.

I got just the crossmember because I already had the tubular a-arms and I wanted to run a different setup than what they had. Thing was the changed the crossmember setup for their new arms. Of course I wasnt informed of this before I purchased it and so I had to modify the mounting points for the lower arms! Im running a SBF with the hopes of in the future a turbo setup. The front coil-overs are adjustable so a BBF wouldnt be much of a problem.:thumbs2:

That minitub will happen sooner than expected, my car went to the painter today (who'll also finish up my booger welds and do the tub job)!
    Any info much appreciated. :yahoo:

I will try and post some pics tonight. I will show you where I made my cuts etc. My mig bottle was waiting for me when I got home yesterday so now I just have to get it filled up. Gonna try and get that done after work today.

Curious when you install the R&C crossmember with the tubular arms, one how hard is it and two does the stock steering work with this system or would you have to go with the rack and pinion style. Also how hard is this install really, all bs aside.

The kit comes with a rack & pinion setup, not hard depending on your skills and tools. Took me 15 hrs to do everything except steering and covering the missing shock towers (maybe 25 hrs in all) and that's before I got my plasma rig...

You can get just the crossmember. I would however buy everything together as a kit if I were to ever do it again. Well if I was to do it again I wouldn't go with a Mustang II setup.
