    The kit is the way to go otherwise you will not be able to roll it around when u r done, and see your handy work completed..set aside a weekend and take lots of mm before starting and check and recheck mm as you go...Give it a shot...its more satisfing knowing u did the work yourself

    You can't use any of your stock Maverick steering anymore when you install any of these Mustang II "type" systems. You have to have the Mustang II rack. :)

    I would probably go with a Corvette based suspension. Better geometery and more brake options.

    There's several companies out there making crossmembers and front suspension kits to put the Corvette front suspension under anything from a ford pickup to a camaro. I'd use a C4 or C5 suspension, both are plentiful now.

    On a side note. Nothing new with my Maverick. Been putting some money and time into the Pinto since it's my daily driver...it needed some attention. Will be putting the 2.3 Turbo short block together today. :dancing:
