Did some major work on my 302 shortblock. Completely rebuilt engine, replaced everything. Put in a new Comp cam and a MSD Ignition. Now getting a vibration in the distributer. Pulled distributer and put new one (same model) still vibrated. Pulled cam, had manufacturer test cam, they sent me a new one, I replaced it and distributor still vibrated. Ran it for a while, now problem is only intermittent, but still there. Anyone ever heard of this issue before?

What size cam do you have? Could it be the engine is vibrating, and not just the distributer? Check for vacuum leaks.
