Mustang Shaker1000 stuck in PHONE mode. Any ideas how to fix?

    Some guys say you can download a new firmware. I was able to get it to stop by disconnecting the battery for a while.

    I pulled the fuse and it still kept the PHONE, but disconnecting the battery for 20 minutes or so cleared it for me.

    yea, I was hoping I would have the same luck you had. unfortunately, even after unplugging the battery for 20+ minutes (probably closer to 30), I still have the issue. No codes are coming up, so not sure what to do now. 6+ hour trip ahead of me today and I cannot bare the thought of silence!
    you know anything else about the firmware?

    Sorry, I never had to go that far into it, and have since traded the car in for something with SiriusXM radio. n
