So I need a little bit of help.

I happen to own a 1976 ford maverick. It is giving me some problems and somebody offered me a 1970 maverick engine and transmission. Now my question is, would this fit in my 76 for now until i get a better engine? Please let me know.
    Thanks

depends, if theyre both 6's then yes

if theyre both 8's then yes

if one is a 6 and the other is a 8 it gets a little trickier
