would you happen to have a pic of that? i havent started on the spring relocation, just the mini tub and frame scallop.
made a little progress recently picked up a set of seats for the front that i still need to mount nearly finished the drivers side mini tub and test fit a set of tires i have lying around i would not have got anyhting done without my helper(or she thought so)
thanks! my brother in law used the mopar kit on his polara and he is happy with it,but i am to cheap to buy one when i have steel laying around.
In order to make things easy at the rear of the springs I had a set of 2 1/2" offset shackles made. I also made a pair of aluminium bushings for the frame side of the shackle
i got the new wheels today from wheel vintiques,2 day turn around on them with the custom backspace.tomorrow i should be able to get them cleaned and painted maybe even have the tires mounted.they look wider than i thought they would.out the door for 160 cash.15x10 with 7 inche backspace.
well i got the tires mounted and balanced today and all i can say is....i shoulda got 15x12's instead.maybe its the tires but they look kinda small under the car.i'll get some pics tomorrow in the light.
Nice work, dose that off set shackle drop the location of the spring down ? if so will you have a taller ride hight ? Looks really good and seems to be a easy way to move the leaf over...
if you want to do a little grinding they go right into the stock location.i welded them under the frame,i am going to lower it some anyways so the extra inch or so is no big deal to me.
Your progress is looking real nice :bananaman I suppose you will have to lose the back seat with the mini tubs?
i imagine the stock rear seat will need to go but i havent tried to see if it will fit or not.i dont plan to use it anyhow. here are the wheel and tire pics.might just be the tire that makes it look small and not having any weight in the car. i also got a layer of peel and seal down on the floor
