I have a firewall question to ask you. The area that I would be expecting to see the electric fan motor for your heater sticking out of the firerwall has a flat cover and 2 little tubes sticking out on your firewall. Do you use a heater fan motor at all? On my 69.5 the motor sticks right out through my firewall and I'm looking to somehow move it or something to get a more cleaner look to my firewall. You can see in my picture how mine sticks out.

    Thanks, Bob

Do you have a photo of that heater box - maybe I have to look into getting one of them. That would really clean up my firewall :yahoo:

It slipped in as if it were made just for my car. It is a touch close to the trans tunnel in one spot but I dont know if it will touch. If I were paying for the driveshaft I would go with 3" tube but this one is 4". If it does touch its nothing a bfh wont handle.

i assume that you had to change the rear u-joint, did the slip spline in to the trany.

It was made with 91 mustang rear flange and a regular c4 slip yoke,n ot sure on the exact part numbers. I just told them I had a c4 and an 8.8 rear end and measured from the seal on the trans to the flange on the rear axle. You can also switch the rear flange on the axle to a standard yoke and run a u-joint right to the axle.

Just went through this myself. If go with the C4 you will need a special flywheel, B&M has one. The C4 to a late engine requires this flywheel. Also you will need to get a floor shifter. Good Luck
