Got the driver side tower plate tacked in place..... Then trimed the pass side tower to fit the plate to it..... Last thing I did today is put the driver side header in to make sure there is plenty of clearance..... I and very happy with the way it fits, and the best part is I was able to install al the tubes with the steering shaft in place..... ;D Hopefully the pass side will too.....

Here is the driver side tower plate tacked in place.....

That is a nice clean job on the towers. It'll look nice when it's done. I've seen a lot of shock towers done with a torch and hammer.

Got the pass side tower plate fitted and tacked in place this morning, then put the pass side header in..... Just like the drivers side all 4 tubes easily go in from the top..... Next I drilled a 7/16 hole in the firewall for a -4 bulkhead nut to be welded on the inside, this is for the oil press line..... Then I put the heater box in place to test fit the -10 bulkheads for the heater hoses(had to take these bulkhead fittings and nuts to work to make a couple mods in the lathe).....

Here's the tower plate tacked in place.....

and here's is the pass side header in place.....

Here is a before and after of the modified -10 bulkhead fitting so I can put a standard 5/8 heater hose on the inside and use the -10 braided hose in the engine compartment.....

Here ais a before and after ot the modified -10 bulkhead nut fit the hole in the firewall where the heater hoses go through.....

I also decied to stip all the hose ends off various pices og an hose so I could figure out wht I have and what i will need to buy, I had more fittings laying around then I thought.....

    Thank you sir.....

Today I got the bulkhead nuts for heater hoses and oil pressure lines welded in the firewall..... Also mounted the master cyl to check clearances..... Then I removed the intake manifold so I could mill some material off the carb mounting surface and drill and tap it for rear water passages.....

Here is the firewall with fittings and master in place.....

Here is the intake on the mill.....

and here is the back of the intake with water port fittings in place.....
