Thnak you..... Thanks, I did have a couple drips from the tight areas I brushed a little in but I wiped them up before spraying the rest..... I brushed it in a few tight spots like the outside bottom pocket of the towers and right where the top of the frame meets the firewall..... Just to make sure those areas got a decent coat, then the rest was sprayed.....
This morning I added some seam sealer to the front end, I will still have to add a little more once it dries..... Then I worked on fitting the caprice tail lights..... Not much to see where I added seam sealer since I used black on black..... Here's the tail light install with templates..... Then cutting openings..... and test fitting lights.....
I really like the Caprice tail lights. I had a set of Bobcat tail lights mounted and once I saw someone using the Caprice tails, I removed the Bobcats and installed the Caprice set
Made the battery box mount and welded the battery cutoff switch mount..... Then cleaned everything up and painted whole firewall, floor pan and trunk area with POR15..... Here's the battery box mount and cut off switch bracket..... Here's the firewall, floor and trunk area's coated with POR15.....
I sprayed the whole roof and a couple of other panels on my hearse with POR15. It sprays nice right out of the can. I gotta add that it does not like to be sprayed over plastic body filler but seems fine over lead.
The body work begins, and may I just add BODY WORK SUCKS!!!!! Got bothe quaters filled and leveled..... Sanded most of the car, and put seam sealer in the drip rails and a few other places..... Here's a few progress pic's for the day.....
Jeez Frank what are you complaining about??? Doesn't look like much body work at all. . Just playin' nice work man.
Sanded the whole thing down including all the hard to get to areas with some 220 this morning..... Then got it all in a nice heavy coat of primer, next weekend let the blocking begin..... They always look much better when you get them one nice even color, so here's what it looks like at the minute.....
