I have actually been in the same shop unit since September of 89 and have never had a problem yet, the road infront of the shop is low and often floods with a good amount of rain but the shop building is atleast 3 feet higher then the road and we have never had a problem yet..... I actually live just up 49th at 91 ave..... My father was over there yesterday and everything was fine..... I assume you made it through OK, looks like where going to get alot of wind today.....
Had a couple of issues ... but nothing major ... new-ish Mustang, that we just made the last payment on got two inches of water in the passenger side floor. Plugged cowl drain ... stupid Magnolia tree! and bad design ... rain backed up via A/C. Almost dry again ...
Today I made the recirculation tube between the wastegate outlet and the down pipe..... After that I need to clean up a little, which turned into the beginnings of a major clean up..... Tomorrow will probably be a major clean up day the way it looks now, mabye I'll be able to get a little bit done after wards..... Here's the tube mocked up against the down pipe after fitting..... Here's where I cut the hole in the down pipe for the tube..... This is after it was welded..... and here it is bolted back up.....
All I did oday is clean for about 4.5hrs, atleast the looks good now..... Till I start working again next week anyways..... Clean shop.....
That's the biggest hunk of junk I threw out..... Just had it sitting outside while I was cleaning.....
My garage looked like that once ... about 10 years ago ... right after I painted the floor and moved my stuff in ...

Thanks guys..... This morning I went to the shop to test fit the new driver side alt bracket I got..... First I had to get a broken water pump bolt out of the block I forgot about..... After getting the bolt out I fitted the bracket and it looks like I will need to modify a couple pieces to get it how I want it, but I can make it work..... Next I took a look at the radiator an fittings and what I will have to do to make everything fit properly..... I removed the inlet and outlet off the radiator so I can get the an fittings welded on..... Here's the broken bolt after drilling for ez-out, ended up drilling almost to threads and picking the rest out..... I will probably end up putting a helicoil in this hole before assembling the motor..... Here's the alternator more or less where it is going to be, I will make final fitting on this when there is a crankshaft in the motor..... Here I put the rad back in to try and figure out fittings, but decided I needed the an fittings welded to the radiator before it could be figured out..... and one of the radiator with inlet/outlet fittings cut off.....
