That two- tone dash...the vents...the cluster...very nice, I like it! Want to see how good it looks back together with trim installed, nice work.

Thanks! Once all the paint has had a few days to cure I will start putting it back together.

    I bet you are right.

Victor, I used a product call JB Weld to repair the cracked pieces. I will take some closeup pictures of the repairs tomorrow. (y)

Here are some pictures of the repaired cracks. I could have spent more time on them, but I'm more than happy with the results.

I finished up with the dash today, or at least as far as I want to go right now. First I touched up the HVAC panel with a white paint pen. Then I used trim adhesive to reinstall the parts into the panel. It came out sweet!
    Before touch up:

    After touch up:

    Assembled:

Next I fixed the missing thumb adjuster on my center dash vent. Not too big of a deal. Just took it apart and replaced the adjuster.

Next I assembled the AC vents onto the package tray. Once that was done, I installed all the dash stuff, including the package tray. I even threw a decent dash pad on it. I have a cap that I will paint blue and install, but I ran out of blue paint, lol. I set it on just to see what a black pad would look like. I'm still going with blue, though. I love the way it came out.

Oh, and never mind about that weird looking emblem on there. Not sure where that came from. :shhh:

My next project: restore my leather sport steering wheel. Yes, actual leather with the finger grips. The silver paint needs attention and I may try and recover it myself. The leather is decent. We'll see.
