    eBay, they might still be up there, he had a few sets. they are for 94-98 mustangs. about 2" shorter than needed.

    there will be plenty of pictures and comments... most likely alot of cuss words. :yahoo:

    Progress looks great. I still want to get over there one day and check it out. Maybe it will get me motivated enough to get back on my own.

    Yeah, I am waiting for some free time to spend a full day over there. Seems that everytime I plan a weekend, something else comes up. Never fails.

    On Monday my dad and I are heading down to Culpeper VA to check out a huge junkyard. He is looking for Buick parts for his '64. I will ofcourse be scoping out the Mav's and Comets. I don't really need any big parts, buts it's always nice to look. You are welcome to come along, its going to be a long day starting early.

    Sounds like fun but the work thing gets in the way. How about looking out for 57-58 fords for me. And as always, take a camera.

    Great project. I just saw your seats...I went the same route and they are very comfortable. I bought new Mustang seat covers and had a trim shop cover my back seat to match.

    That looks sharp! (y) Except I'm modifying the fronts to match the back. I hope it comes out that nice!

    Got to spend a day on the Comet this week, maybe even another this weekend. I am still in the tear down stage, here is what I got accomplished.

    Removed all the glass. The weather stripping just crumbled away. The quarter windows and trim came out without a hitch.

    Got the headliner and dash out.

    My suspicions were correct! I definitely had a leaking cowl, both sides even! This is an A/C car.

    All in all, a good day taking stuff apart. Next step is to remove the third member and drop the tank. Then its time to start on those cowls and other sheet metal repairs. :dance:

    Keep focused. I did kinda what your doing. I tore alot of stuff apart then when it was time to go together, I had stuff everywhere :cry:. If I did it again, I would start and finish sections. It is fun just doing something tho. I'll be on mine this weekend also. Keep the pics coming :cool:

    The cowl repair isn't that bad of a thing to do...it just takes time.
    I hope you marked the holes your headliner bows came out of... :)

    Yep, they all came out of the lower holes. Which begs the question, why are there two different sets of holes?

    EDIT: Nevermind, just read that in another thread.
