alright i got some progress on the mav in the last week. i took it to a body shop to get the body work done as well as get it painted. i saw it today and it looks GOOOOOOOD. i can't wait till the end of this week till it's completely painted. all i would need is to have the interior fixed up, disc brakes, and rims and then i'll be a happy owner.

Thanks guys. Looking to fix up the interior now.
What kind of paint do I need for the vinyls? I want to change color from brown to black.

i have had excellent results with SEM interior dyes. they really work well. just make sure you clean the surfaces your coating really well.

I need some urgent help guys. I have the inside of the car stripped down and ready to be carpeted but I want to ask do I need anything else at the bottom of it before the carpet? I wanted to get some heat proof and sound proof liners that I've seen for sale. Do I really need that or its just a sales gimmick. Thanks

Sound deadner is the differance in having a clunky old car or having one that sounds solid and quieter.

finally things are looking well. I finally received my carpet after about a month I ordered it. Also i got the sound deadener to go along with it underneath.
Before installing the carpet, i wanted to get the upholstery done before installing the carpet so here are a few pictures i took during work.
