Only thing about steering wheels that I have not figured out is, they keep on cracking and splitting. I have one I did last year and it now has cracked in 2 new areas, Isolated to a very small portion of the wheel and easily fixed, but maybe they just continue to deteriorate. I do know that it is extreme temp changes that usually cause them to crack. When I first moved where i live now, my Stallion was in a garage that had no heat. It got -27 one night. I went out to expect the dash cracked, but found the steering wheel had seperated, it is still that way, and that was 8 years ago. I am going to fix it this year.
