    Bob, He's only 34 but been through alot over there. If your son has been through a traumatic injury have him check into TSGLI. They pay out lump sum one time payments that don't detract from future disability rulings. It's available and the military doesn't tell the soldiers about it. He's looking forward to another deployment, only to Afghanistan next fall although they may do a medical reclass on him. For his wife and kid's sake I hope they do. Feels good to be able to share with you all some of the experiences. Didn't mean to diverge from your original thread. - Matt

    Matt, I didn't realize that he was still active after all of that. Afghanistan seems to be even worst than Iraq. If he has a wife and kids I would do every thing I could to talk him into some kind of medical action so hes not sent over. His odds are slimming down after three tours already. My son luckily did not have any close encounters other than bullets wizzing by. He was transportation between faluza and bagdad. Nite trips mostly.

    The silver was custom mixed to match the silver 3m tape stripes that I'll be putting on next spring from Graphic Express.
