Everybody loves my hat! Frank told me if we didn't a rag in Earl's car, we could use my hat. I offered my hat to Earl so his head wouldn't get wet and he said that he'd just let his head get wet.

See, Frank appreciates the durability and versatility of the material that made the hat and Earl didn't want to mess it up.:yup:

He drove somewhere in the neighborhood of 120+ miles before they let go. It was good, tight fit for a little while.

I was where you told me you were going. I thought y’all got in some traffic on the back road. The last time I saw you were on the entrance ramp. At least Earl and I did keep a visual on one another until he made a nose dive to take the exit at the last second. Did you know the speed limit is only 70 mph, not 110. ...If I was Mike I would insist on driving next time you got behind the wheel. :yikes: :whew:

Yeah, interesting. It went about 150 miles before it blew. But, no damage to the engine, and it is fine.

Glad to see that no harm was done. I did that once with my '73 Stang conv. Dumped 3 quarts of oil on my garage floor and driveway as I backed it out to take it for a test drive. If I hadn't looked down, the engine would have been toast.

Otherwise, looks like you had a nice day.

Had a large day, good eats, good friends, and a soggy and interesting auto-interlude to the day. Now I just have to get to a car wash and clean the thing up...oil everywhere!
