but they are 17 inch slots though...could be possible in 1970, im 18 so I obvouisly wouldnt know. And my steel wheels are in Baton Rouge.
HEY BACK IN THE EARLY 80S, I WORKED AT A PLANTATION, IN FLORIDA JUST NORTH OF JACKSONVILLE ,Secretariat WAS BEING KEPT THERE I WAS A SEC. GUARD ,I USE TO GO OUT AT NIGHT AND HANG OUT WITH THAT HORSE,EVEN GAVE HER A FEW SUGAR CUBES ,THE PLANTATION WAS CALLED LIVE OAK ,IT WAS A GREAT JOB DIDNT PAY MUCH BUT WAS FUN......JUST HAD TO SAY SOMETHING ABOUT HER ,SHE WAS A GREAT HORSE ......HOPE THE MOVIE WORKS OUT GREAT
Well theres an update: I will be going on set on monday from 6 in the morning and at least a 12 hour day. I will be an Extra crossing a street in a New York scene and If the maverick gets the cut..it will be used. and the best part..I GET PAID!!
well most pepole wont even know the diffrence but there will be us car guys wathcing the movie going heyyyyy thats not right LOL Like in Walk The Line the johnny cash movie one of the cars sitting on the street in scene were Cash walks up to the back door of sun studios and see's elvis recording has some late model wheels that were not avaiable in that time its a quick shot but i was like wait a minute stoped it rewinded it freeze frammed it LOL Good luck now im going have to see movie just to watch for your car
Update: Just got off the set..my car and I was used in one scene, me a pedestrian, and my car parked outside. And in the other scene I was driving it.
